Letter Bug FAQ

"I can only play the Storm world!"
When you first install the game only the Storm world is unlocked. You have to progress through the Playthrough mode in order to unlock more worlds. To unlock the second world you have to beat 3 levels of Storm. Once you unlock a new world, you can play it anytime from the Challenge or Score Attack modes.

"I can't adjust the volume or shake sensitivity on the options screen."
Occasionally the sliders may not respond properly. In these rare cases most of our customers have been able to fix the problem by making sure they have the latest version of the game, restarting the game, or by restarting your device. Some people swear by turning your device around in circles, pleading with it, and doing The Hokey-Pokey; but these are untested and not recommended by Portable Zoo.

"How do I play my own music in Letter Bug?"
It's easy! Just open your iPod app and start playing your own music. Then exit the iPod app by clicking the home button, your music should continue to play. Now open Letter Bug and the ambient music shouldn't be playing but your music will continue to play. You will still be able to hear Letter Bug sound effects (like when you make a word) along side your music.

"I don't like waiting for the High Scores to post. Can I turn it off?"
Yes you can. After you select the user name you wish to play under, tap the Options button at the bottom of the screen, and turn submit scores to Off.

"The game stops after a few minutes of play" or "it stopped recognizing my touch on the screen"
This is likely a problem with your device. Try restarting your iPhone or iPod touch, that should fix it.
